We are fast responders in emergencies, making contact within 20 minutes, and having a crew on the ground within 60 minutes or less *. We understand that water, sewer, smoke or fire damage is stressful and that’s why we are on call 24-7. We utilized only state-of-the-art equipment and eco-friendly, 99% botanically derived cleaners. Customers health and satisfaction is our #1 priority. This is the reason we are proud to strictly follow standards and procedures of IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification). 24-7 Restoration is a certified firm with the IICRC. Please read about the 24-7 Process, for each type of damage.
Water Damage or Flooding can be devastating. Acting within the first 24 hours is critical in helping minimize structural damage and preventing mold growth in your property. Once our team is at your home or property, they begin the process by assessing the category of water damage (when, where, how and to what extent?). Each step of the process is thoroughly documented through a series of room measurements, photographs of damage and moisture readings of the affected area. We use state-of-the-art equipment (thermal imaging cameras) to locate the moisture and our water extraction equipment such as LGR (Low grain refrigerant) dehumidifiers and 6 types of axial air movers for optimal efficiency. Examples of this are rapid (truck mounted extraction systems) removal of standing water using the Xtreme Extractor, a highly effective water removal system that allows us to extract in clean water situations, without moving carpet and pad. This enables you to continue occupying your home or business throughout the drying process. In addition, 24-7 uses drying equipment (Injecti-Dry) for hardwood flooring that can completely dry out and preserve hardwood floors. After the water is removed and all contents have been placed on protective blocking or removed from affected areas, 24-7 utilizes the most efficient, high-powered fans, heaters, desiccants and dehumidifiers to complete the structural drying process in the least amount of time possible. Throughout the process, our certified technicians monitor and keep detailed records of the entire drying process. Rest assured you don’t need to remember all the terminology, because we also provide daily communication to the property owner during the process.
*60 Minutes or Less is our usual, but is dependent upon the property location and number of jobs in the queue.
Our 24-7 team will assess the sewer backup and damage immediately upon arrival and immediately begin the extraction removal process. It’s important to remember that sewage in your home carries bacteria, viruses and potentially harmful pathogens on a microbial level. As a result, all porous materials that have been contaminated by the water must be removed to ensure the health and safety of occupants. In general, this can include drywall, baseboards, carpet, pads, flooring and insultation materials. The process for Sewage Cleanup Services includes:
- All affected areas are contained and put under negative pressure, utilizing HEPA air scrubbers.
- All raw sewage is extracted and all porous materials are removed, down to the structural components of the building.
- After non-structural, affected components have been removed, the remaining structural portions of the property are then pressure-washed (multiple times) with a disinfectant solution and allowed to dwell for 10-15 minutes. This affectively kills any remaining harmful pathogens. The disinfectant solution is then extracted by pressure washing.
- All exposed and affected areas are sprayed with a botanically derived anti-microbial solution to ensure the affected areas are now safe and ready for repair and reconstruction.
- During the mitigation, one of 24-7’s Project Manager will meet with you to set in motion the reconstruction/rebuild/repair process.
At 24-7 Restoration, we understand Fire/smoke damage in your home, or business, is devastating and we are here to help in your time of need. Our process for smoke/fire damage restoration:
- Initial documentation – our certified technicians will inspect the damage to your home and provide a written report of exactly what has been damaged and needs to be restored. This is done using our insurance pre-approved pricing software, and our report will be sent to you and your insurance carrier.
- Mitigating the Damage – immediate response can prevent further damages! We take these steps initially to protect your building or home. This includes water removal if fire fighters were called out, and boarding up any emergency access firefighters had to use at your property (windows/doors etc). These steps are critical to prevent theft or any further structural damage.
- Contents and inventory Pack Out – Your possessions will be thoroughly inventoried and properly packed/boxed and sent to our secure, temperature-controlled facility for professional cleaning techniques to remove soot and odor, to restore these possessions to pre-loss condition, if possible.
- Structural Cleaning and Reconstruction – We will remove all the debris, clean and disinfect the structure and repair/rebuild the affected areas. Our pre-screened, licensed, bonded and insured contractors, familiar with fire restoration, will restore your home or commercial building.
*60 Minutes or Less is our usual, but is dependent upon property location and number of jobs in the queue.
All of our technicians have been trained and certified to efficiently and safely locate, and mitigate mold in your home or business.
After the mold has been located and tested, the first step is to isolate the contaminated areas to protect the unaffected areas from cross-contamination. Once the barrier has been set, and negative pressure is created inside the containment of the area(s), the removal process can begin. Typically, the affected drywall and carpeting are removed, exposing the structure for examination. Depending on the severity, 24-7 Restoration implements a multi-faceted approach, using the proper equipment for the level of mold (Dry-ice blasters, soda blasters, pressure-washing or simple hand-sanding). Using the right approach for each situation to save time and money for our clients.
Once the mold has been removed, we thoroughly HEPA vacuum and damp wipe with fungicide on all surfaces within the containment. At this point, we typically have an independent testing company come in and test both surfaces and air samples to ensure we have done our job thoroughly. After passing post-testing, we can seal the surfaces that were affected by mold, and get your property ready for repair and rebuild. For more great information on mold abatement and remediation, visit the Boulder County Health Department website.
24-7 utilizes independent companies for all our testing and removal services, but we ensure this is covered by your insurance company before commencing work. We utilize only licensed, certified and insured third parties that have been thoroughly screened. This takes the guesswork out of your hands and ensures that you are getting the best rate and complying with State and Federal Regulations. Your safety is our priority.
