Eco-friendly Restoration - And Proud Of It!

No Toxic Chemicals. Just A Safe, Responsible Cleaning.

Using Botanically Based Disinfectants/Cleaners

At 24-7 Restoration, we make every effort to take care of the environment as well as our customers. We strive to be eco-friendly in all of our work.

We exclusively use a non-toxic, botanically based disinfectant and cleaner that goes above and beyond the U.S Environmental Protection Agency’s requirements for broad spectrum hospital disinfectants. The fact that it kills over 99.99% of bacteria while still being environmentally friendly is a major reason we use this type of cleaner. There are a couple of other reasons as well:

2. Environmental Awareness

When a Restoration Company comes into your home, sprays chemicals, and then power washes them down the drain, where does the residue go? Are you concerned about the toxicity of these chemicals and where they end up? Eventually, they seep into our local groundwater and from there into our lakes and rivers. They also stick around in the air you and your loved ones breathe in your home. On the other hand, our botanically based, environmentally safe cleaners keep your home and our water supply unpolluted. Worth the investment? We think so!

1. The Health of our Customers & Crew:

Unlike most commercial cleaners and antimicrobial agents used in Water and Sewer Damage Cleanup, our cleaner is completely harmless! It’s safe for everyone - including infants, pets, and the elderly! While the cost of our cleaner is significantly higher than that of other commercial cleaning agents, the extra cost is worth it to us. Why wouldn't it be? The very health of our customers, crew, and the environment is on the line.

Keeping A Green Office

At 24-7 Restoration, almost all the paper products that we purchase for our office are recycled or post-consumer waste products. Aside from doing our best to be eco-friendly consumers ourselves, we also engage in environmentally friendly habits, such as:

Recycling: We recycle our office paper, aluminum, glass, cardboard, and plastic

Energy: Lights are turned off in rooms, offices, and areas where employees are not working. Heating and cooling systems are on automatic settings for the optimal conservation of energy.

Top Down Drying/In Place Drying Method

When drying out a building or home after a flood or other water damage, many companies will tear out everything that was affected. Our approach is different. Instead of ripping apart your floors and drywall, we’ll try to salvage as much as we can by utilizing a simple drying method that can save your carpet, floors, cabinets, etc. from being torn out. Of course, if there’s a high category of water damage or if sewage is involved, then everything affected does need to be torn out, disinfected, and replaced for safety reasons. But in the instance of a clean water flood, most building materials (carpet, drywall, studs, etc.) can be dried out completely and safely, many times with effective results. This often enables customers to stay in their homes during the drying out process and saves a lot of unnecessary waste.

Always Improving

While we consider ourselves to be an environmentally friendly company, there’s always room for improvement! We try to stay on top of new technologies and research so that we can do our best work while also protecting our environment. We’re always setting goals for ourselves to reduce waste within our own company. For example, we are currently working on increasing our water conservation efforts and reducing vehicle emissions.
